Developer: Russia's Provod drones have struck 1,000 Ukrainian targets Since start of 2026
Russian fibre-optic FPV drones known as Provod have destroyed roughly 1,000 targets belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the start of 2026.
The information was provided to Russian media by Andrei Ivanov, the chief designer of the Ovod family of unmanned aerial vehicles.
“We can confidently state that approximately one thousand targets have been hit so far using this system,” Ivanov said.
He explained that the Provod drone is capable of engaging both heavy military equipment and enemy strongpoints.
Ivanov had previously announced that deliveries of the new fibre-optic strike FPV drone Provod had begun to Russian military units.
According to its specifications, the Provod fibre-optic FPV drone has an operational range of 25 to 30 kilometres and can carry a payload of up to 4.5 kilograms.
