Dozens of Ukrainian drones target Russian region, 20 intercepted

Air defences intercepted 20 drones overnight across seven districts in Russia’s Rostov region during what authorities described as a large-scale aerial attack, regional governor Yuri Slyusar said on Telegram.

The interceptions took place in the Chertkovsky, Kamensky, Sholokhovsky, Millerovsky, Verkhnedonsky, Azovsky, and Tarasovsky districts.

No casualties or damage on the ground have been reported so far, though details are still being clarified, the governor noted.

The drone threat alert remains in effect across the Rostov region, he added.
