Drone attack damages residential building in Russia’s Samara
A residential high-rise building in the Russian city of Tolyatti was damaged during a drone attack on the Samara region, according to an analysis by the independent OSINT outlet ASTRA.
Local sources reported an attack by Ukrainian drones on the region and the activation of Russian air-defence systems. Images that later circulated online showed damage to a high-rise residential building in Tolyatti.
An ASTRA OSINT analysis confirmed that the reported damage was consistent with the aftermath of the drone attack, although the circumstances and extent of the damage remain unclear.
Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said a “major attack using UAVs” was continuing in the region.
“All information regarding the consequences is currently being verified,” Fedorishchev said.
