Drone attack disrupts operations at Russia’s major electrical equipment distributor VIDEO
Operations at the logistics centre of TD Elektrotekhmontazh in Russia's Rostov-on-Don have been temporarily suspended following an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack, according to the independent news outlet ASTRA.
The company said the strike damaged both its warehouse complex and administrative building. Employees working the night shift were evacuated, and no casualties were reported.
TD Elektrotekhmontazh, also known as ETM, is one of Russia’s major distributors of electrical equipment, industrial machinery, and engineering systems. The company said it is reorganising supply routes and redirecting logistics operations through other distribution centers while recovery efforts continue.
The incident came amid a broader wave of reported attacks in Rostov-on-Don. Earlier reports said fires also broke out at the Empils paint and varnish plant and a branch of the Radar Scientific and Technical Centre following the attack.
