Drone attack in Russia’s Belgorod region injures seven
A drone attack in Russia’s Belgorod Region left at least seven people injured, according to the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.
Gladkov said six people were wounded in the Shebekinsky District, including a member of the “Orlan” unit. Another person was injured in the village of Veselaya Lopan in the Belgorod District.
In the village of Maksimovka, a drone detonated on the grounds of a local enterprise. A man sustained severe injuries to his abdomen and hand as a result of the blast.
Another strike occurred in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, where a drone hit a Gazelle vehicle. The head of the settlement and members of a local self-defence unit transported two injured individuals — a man and a woman — to the hospital. Both were diagnosed with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to their legs. The attack also damaged the windows and fence of a private home.
In the town of Shebekino, a member of the “Orlan” unit was seriously wounded and remains in critical condition with multiple shrapnel injuries. Two additional residents of the town were injured when two drones struck a local enterprise. The man and woman suffered blast injuries and barotrauma. The strike also damaged a production workshop and a vehicle.
