Drone attack on Russia’s Krasnodar injures two, damages infrastructure
The Russian city of Krasnodar was targeted by a drone strike by Ukrainian Armed Forces on December 30, local officials from the Krasnodar Territory Operational Headquarters said.
According to lcoal authorities, the attack resulted in two people being injured by shrapnel, and both individuals were hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities confirmed that they are receiving appropriate medical care, Caliber.Az reports.
Debris from the drones struck the Krasnodar Sortirovochny railway station, causing significant damage to the station's electrical infrastructure, specifically a section of the contact network. Additional fragments of the drones were found in the ZIP gardening association area, where two private homes were affected. One of the homes suffered roof damage.
Local emergency and operational services are currently on the ground, working to secure the areas and assess the extent of the damage caused by the attack.
