Drone attack sparks fire at industrial facility in Russia's Kaluga region

A drone attack triggered a fire at an industrial facility in Russia's Kaluga region overnight, according to regional Governor Vladislav Shapsha.

Shapsha said the fire broke out at a facility in the Dzerzhinsky district as a result of the attack. According to preliminary information, no injuries were reported, Caliber.Az reports.

“Operational teams and Emergency Situations Ministry personnel are working at the scene,” he said in a statement.

The governor added that Russian air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 16 drones overnight over the Borovsk, Dzerzhinsky, Maloyaroslavets and Mosalsky districts, as well as on the outskirts of the city of Obninsk.
