Drone attack targets Port Kavkaz in Russia, three injured photo / video
The Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a drone attack on the Port Kavkaz in Krasnodar Krai, injuring three people and damaging a vessel, according to the regional operational headquarters.
Authorities said the strike occurred in the Temryuk district, where three people were wounded during the unmanned aerial vehicle attack. The injured were hospitalised and are receiving medical treatment.
Officials also reported that debris from the drones damaged a technical vessel at the port and caused a localised fire at the pier complex, which was quickly extinguished.
According to the independent Russian outlet ASTRA, the attack also led to a fire at the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Seversky district. Authorities said the blaze broke out after drone debris fell on the facility, igniting technical installations.
Preliminary information indicates that no casualties were reported at the refinery. Emergency and special services are currently working at the site and taking measures to extinguish the fire.
Witness videos geolocated by ASTRA confirm the fire at the Afipsky Oil Refinery.
