Drone attack triggers evacuation in Russia’s Sverdlovsk, says governor

Evacuation is underway in Russia’s Sverdlovsk region following a drone attack that struck residential buildings and a logistics centre, regional Governor Denis Pasler announced on Telegram.

“Drones and debris struck residential buildings and a logistics centre. There are no casualties. Information on those injured is being clarified. Fires have been reported. All emergency services are working. Evacuation is underway,” he said.

Authorities urged residents to remain in shelters and follow safety guidelines until the drone attack threat in the region is lifted.
