Drone attacks hit Russia's Belgorod, injuring four civilians in several districts
Four civilians were injured in a new wave of drone attacks attributed to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on December 23.
In a statement published on his Telegram channel, Gladkov said the attacks affected several districts across the region.
In the city of Grayvoron, an FPV drone detonated, leaving two men with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. The victims received initial medical assistance at the Grayvoron Central District Hospital before being transferred to the regional clinical hospital for further treatment. The explosion also caused damage to a commercial property and five vehicles in the area.
Another incident occurred in the settlement of Krasny Pakhary in the Volokonovsky district, where a drone struck a cargo truck. The driver sustained blast injuries along with shrapnel wounds to the head and back. He was taken to the Valuyki Central District Hospital for continued medical care.
In the Borisovsky district, in the village of Belenkoye, an FPV drone hit a passenger car. A man suffered shrapnel injuries to his neck, shoulder, and arm and was transported to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. The vehicle was completely destroyed by the ensuing fire.
According to the governor, all injured civilians are receiving the necessary medical treatment.
