Drone debris hits industrial site in Russia’s Yaroslavl after air defence intercept
Debris from a downed unmanned aerial vehicle struck an industrial facility in Yaroslavl, Russia, regional governor Mikhail Yevrayev said in a Telegram post, adding that no injuries were reported.
The governor did not specify which facility was affected. He noted that during the overnight attack, air defence and electronic warfare systems managed to intercept most of the drones.
Yevrayev added that the threat of further UAV attacks remains in the region.
He also warned that fragments of downed drones may still be scattered across the area, stressing that they are important for the investigation.
Residents were urged not to approach the debris or use mobile phones nearby, and instead to report any findings to emergency services.
