Drone hits election commission building in Russia’s Samara region

A drone struck a building housing a territorial election commission in Russia’s Samara region, where election documents were being kept, according to Central Election Commission Chairwoman Ella Pamfilova.

Pamfilova said the UAV hit the election commission building. No casualties were reported, according to the statement cited by TASS.

Authorities have not identified the specific locality where the incident occurred. It also remains unclear whether any election documents were damaged or destroyed in the attack.
