Drone strike hits Russia’s Rostov-on-Don, 13 injured Photo / Updated
As many as thirteen people have been injured in Rostov-on-Don following a drone attack, with two reported to be in a serious condition.
According to the acting Governor of the Rostov Region, Yuri Slyusar, who shared the update on his Telegram channel, two of the injured have already been admitted to the hospital and are being treated for serious injuries.
Another 11 are being transported to medical facilities. Authorities say further information on the victims is expected to be released.
"Residents of buildings affected by the drone strike are being evacuated. A temporary reception centre has been set up at a local school to accommodate those displaced, " the city’s mayor added.

Residents of Russia’s Rostov-on-Don reported hearing an explosion in the city centre on Wednesday morning.
According to Telegram channels 161.ru and Shot, the incident coincided with regional alerts warning of missile threats, Caliber.Az reports.
Local reports suggest that a drone struck the city, causing damage to a residential building. Photographs shared online show the extent of the destruction, though no information on casualties has yet been confirmed.
