One of Wildberries' largest logistics warehouses in Russia's Vladimir region has suspended operations after a drone attack triggered a fire, while regional authorities said one person was injured.

Vladimir Region Governor Alexander Avdeev said the attack targeted a warehouse complex in the Sobinsky District.

"As a result of a drone attack on the warehouse complex in the Sobinsky District, a young man sustained a head injury. According to preliminary reports, his injuries are not life-threatening. He is currently being transported by ambulance to the emergency medical care hospital," Avdeev said.

A drone attack caused a fire at a logistics warehouse in Russia's Vladimir region, regional authorities said, with the facility later confirmed to belong to the Wildberries online marketplace.

Vladimir Region Governor Alexander Avdeev said the warehouse complex in the Sobinsky district was struck by an unmanned aerial vehicle, causing damage and igniting a fire, Caliber.Az reports.

"A UAV attacked the warehouse complex. There is damage and a fire," Avdeev said, adding that all employees had been evacuated and that no injuries had been reported.

The governor did not initially identify the owner of the warehouse. However, RWB Group later confirmed that the affected facility belongs to Wildberries, one of Russia's largest e-commerce platforms.

In a statement, the company's press office said a fire had broken out at its logistics centre in the Vladimir region following the attack and confirmed that all personnel had been safely evacuated.

"People have been evacuated... Preliminary reports indicate there are no casualties," the company said.

Wildberries added that it had reorganised its logistics operations to minimise disruption, with the receipt and dispatch of goods being redirected to other warehouse facilities.
