Drone strike targets oil facility in Russia’s Chuvash Republic

Authorities in Russia’s Chuvash Republic reported a drone strike on an oil pumping station near the village of Konar in the Tsivilsky District.

The incident, attributed to unmanned aerial vehicles launched by Ukraine, caused minor damage but resulted in no casualties, Oleg Nikolayev, Head of the Chuvash Republic, wrote on Telegram, Caliber.Az reports.

According to Nikolayev, the facility’s operations have been temporarily suspended.

Emergency response teams are operating in enhanced mode, with measures in place to ensure the safety of residents and maintain control of the situation.
