Drone threat triggers sirens, disruptions across Russia’s Perm region VIDEO

Air-raid sirens have sounded in the cities of Berezniki and Solikamsk in Russia’s Perm region, while local residents have reported hearing explosions, according to local reports.

Videos posted by residents show the sirens sounding in the two cities. Monitoring channels have also reported a drone threat in the region.

The Perm 36.6 channel reported that classes at schools in Berezniki had been cancelled, hospital appointments suspended, and the management of industrial enterprises halted.

Meanwhile, restrictions on aircraft arrivals and departures have been in effect at Bolshoye Savino Airport in Perm since 5 a.m. Moscow time.
