07 April 2026 08:42
Ukrainian drones targeted the Russian port of Ust-Luga overnight, according to the news outlet ASTRA, which said the attack was recorded on video.
Alexander Drozdenko, the governor of Russia’s Leningrad region, said that air defence forces shot down 22 Ukrainian drones in the region during the night of April 7.
The ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga are among Russia’s largest oil export hubs in the northwest. Together, they handle about two million barrels of oil per day, which accounts for roughly 40 per cent of the country’s total oil exports.
