Eight go missing on trip to thermal springs in Russia's Kamchatka

Eight people, including three children, travelled to thermal springs in Kamchatka and have gone missing; a search operation is underway, Kamchatka Krai Emergency Situations Minister Sergey Lebedev has said.

“They left on Friday for the Pushchinskiye hot springs in the Milkovo municipal district and did not return by the scheduled time on February 1. They are not responding to calls,” Lebedev wrote on social media, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

A rescue team has been dispatched to search for them.

The Pushchinskiye thermal springs are located in the valley of the Pravy Kashkan River, near the slopes of the Ganalsky Range in the Milkovo district.
