Elon Musk calls for new UK parliamentary elections amid poll results
American billionaire and entrepreneur Elon Musk has called for new parliamentary elections in the United Kingdom, following the results of recent polling that show poor support for the ruling Labour Party.
Musk’s comments, made on the social media platform X, have sparked further controversy, particularly in light of recent revelations regarding the handling of serious crimes such as rape by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), Caliber.Az reports.
Musk's statement focused on the CPS's role in approving charges for serious crimes, including rape, and its connection to current political figures. He wrote, "In the UK, serious crimes such as rape require the Crown Prosecution Service's approval for the police to charge suspects."
He continued by highlighting the involvement of Keir Starmer, the current Labour leader and former head of the CPS, in the handling of cases involving rape gangs. "Who was the head of the CPS when rape gangs were allowed to exploit young girls without facing justice? Keir Starmer, 2008 - 2013," Musk stated.

Keir Starmer, 2008 -2013
Musk further connected the issue to Jess Phillips, a senior Labour MP, suggesting that her refusal to investigate these gangs is linked to Starmer's previous role. "Who is the boss of Jess Phillips right now? Keir Starmer. The real reason she's refusing to investigate the rape gangs is that it would obviously lead to the blaming of Keir Starmer (head of the CPS at the time)."
