Entire oil refining industry of Ukraine stops operating

CEO of Naftogaz Ukraine, Yuriy Vitrenko, has said that the entire oil refining industry of Ukraine is not working due to hostilities.

“All oil refining in Ukraine is not working due to the attacks of the aggressor [Russia],” Vitrenko said during the briefing, according to Gazeta.Ru.

Earlier, the "Deputy Minister" of information of the "DPR" (Donetsk People’s Republic) Bezsonov reported on the intensification of fighting in the area of Avdiivka and Vugledar. He said that the most active and fierce battles are going on in the Horlivka direction. In addition, Bezsonov added that the same fighting is taking place in the areas of Krasny Liman and Sloviansk.

Also earlier, Business Insider predicted an “insanely difficult” summer in the world due to the embargo on Russian oil. Analyst Victor Caton said that the only hope for lower fuel prices may be huge interest rates on loans.
