Envoy expresses Georgia's hope for opening land border with Azerbaijan

"We hope that Azerbaijan will open the land border with Georgia."

Amid the backdrop of closed land borders, air communication between the two countries is expanding, and from next month, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) will operate flights from Baku to Tbilisi three times a week, Report quotes Georgian Ambassador Zurab Pataradze saying at the Azerbaijani-Georgian business forum in Baku.

Now Baku-Tbilisi flights are operated daily by AZAL's low-cost subsidiary Buta Airways.
