Envoy hails Germany companies’ interest in Azerbaijan’s liberated lands projects

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev has said that the Azerbaijani organisations received requests from German companies due to infrastructure and investment projects in the liberated territories.

“It is pleasant that German companies are also interested in the activity in the Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation, namely, in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, as well as the infrastructure and investment projects being implemented in these regions. Azerbaijan’s relevant organisations received requests from several German companies,” Aghayev said in an interview with Report.

The ambassador noted that the embassy is making efforts to attract more companies to the mentioned projects.

“The German companies are also greatly interested in Azerbaijan’s renewable energy activity, as well as the further development of the Middle Corridor. We are working on specific joint projects in these spheres,” he added.
