Great Return: Azerbaijani former IDPs arrive in Jabrayil’s Horovlu Keys to new homes handed to 20 families / PHOTO

Another group of former internally displaced persons has arrived in Horovlu village in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil district as part of the state-led Great Return programme. 

Keys to newly built apartments were handed over to 20 families, comprising 77 people, Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

The handover ceremony was attended by representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, as well as the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts.

Prior to their return, these families had been living temporarily in dormitories, sanatoriums, children’s camps, unfinished buildings and various administrative facilities.
