Foreign media reps briefed on humanitarian demining in Karabakh PHOTO

Foreign journalists visited Namirli village in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam region to see ongoing humanitarian demining efforts, the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) said on X.

The trip, which also included stops in Karabakh and East Zangezur, aimed to highlight the country’s landmine problem and the steps being taken to address it.

ANAMA officials briefed the guests on clearance operations and conducted interviews with the media representatives.

Since the end of the Second Karabakh War, at least 417 people have been killed or injured by landmines and unexploded ordnance.
