Estonia celebrates Novruz holiday PHOTO

The Estonian-Azerbaijani cultural centre "Aidan" has organised an event on the occasion of the Novruz holiday at the House of Azerbaijan in Tallinn.

The MPs and the representatives of the Estonian Ministry of Culture, representatives of the municipality of Tallinn, the head of the Union of National Minorities of Estonia, representatives of national minority communities attended the event, Report informs.

The head of the centre Niyazi Hajiyev congratulated the guests and all Azerbaijanis of the world on the occasion of the national holiday.

He informed the guests about the Novruz holiday, and its traditions and stressed that the holiday symbolising the arrival of spring is celebrated in Azerbaijan and a number of other countries.

After the cultural part of the event, the guests received gifts and tasted the dishes of national cuisine.
