Estonian FM: EU already working on next sanctions package against Russia
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said that work on a new sanctions package against Russia has already begun following the approval of the EU’s 20th sanctions package.
Writing on social media platform X, Tsahkna welcomed the adoption of the latest measures, which had previously faced resistance from Hungary and Slovakia.
He stressed that the European Union should not slow down its pressure campaign and should focus in particular on Russia’s energy sector, especially maritime oil transport.
