Lukoil refinery in Russian city targeted in drone strikes PHOTO / VIDEO / UPDATED
Following multiple explosion reports in Ukhta, Russia’s Komi Republic, residents captured footage of a drone flying over the area, noting it was still heading toward the refinery.
Local witnesses said the Lukoil-Ukhta plant came under attack, ASTRA Telegram Channel reports.
The Komi Republic’s Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed that Ukhta was struck by drones and stated that emergency response teams were dispatched to the site. According to the local media, several schools and organisations in the city are being evacuated.

Residents of Ukhta in Russia’s Komi Republic have reported multiple explosions and rising smoke columns, according to the ASTRA Telegram Channel.
Following the events, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) announced that the local airport has been closed.
