Ferry ship "Azerbaijan" enters top 50 world’s best ferries

Ro-Pax type ferry ship "Azerbaijan", which belongs to Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), has been included in the list of the world’s 50 best ships according to the Significant Ship 2021 rating of the British Royal Institution of the Naval Architects (RINA).

When choosing the best, the main technical parameters of cruise liners, ferries, supertankers, container ships and ships carrying cars floating in world waters are taken as a basis, Report informs referring to ASCO.

The “Azerbaijan” ferry ship with a capacity of 100 passengers and 56 wagons was put into operation on March 1, 2021, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. The vessel was built at the Baku Shipyard by order of ASCO.
