Fire breaks out at polymer materials facility in Russia VIDEO

A fire has broken out at a polymer materials production facility in the Ladoga industrial park in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Oblast, Russian emergency services said.

The fire broke out in a warehouse and production building at 117 Vsevolozhsky Prospekt, Block 1, and has spread across an area of about 5,900 square metres, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as cited by ASTRA.

The Ladoga industrial park is home to several companies, including Terra-Plast, Mixplast and the Centre for Radiation Technologies.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
