Fire erupts at Ulan-Ude mall in Russia’s Buryatia, leaving multiple injured VIDEO

A fire broke out at the Bayangol shopping and entertainment centre in Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buryatia, on December 10.

The blaze started on the second floor before spreading throughout the complex, Readovka writes on Telegram.

Emergency services evacuated around 50 people from the building. Five individuals were reported injured, suffering from symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, according to the local Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Firefighters are currently battling the blaze. Authorities say the cause of the fire is under investigation, and neighbouring buildings are not at risk.
