Fire kills four at Balashikha hostel in Russia PHOTO

Four people died in a fire at a hostel in Balashikha, Russia.

The blaze began around 4:30 a.m. on the second floor of a three-story private building, igniting personal belongings and furniture in one room, where all the victims were later found, Caliber.Az reports via the Mash Telegram channel.

Six people were rescued, including two children. A 17-year-old teenager was hospitalised, while the others received medical assistance on-site. 

Firefighting efforts involved 80 personnel and 27 pieces of equipment.
