FM: Armenia fosters political and security dialogue with EU

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan highlighted the role of the European Union's reconnaissance and surveillance mission "in ensuring border security", Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.

During the discussions on the 2024 draft budget in the parliament, the minister noted that Armenia will continue to develop close relations with the EU and that the sides are now opening and identifying new platforms of cooperation, for example, political and security dialogue.

He also stressed the launch of the dialogue on the liberalization of the visa regime.

The Armenian Foreign Minister also prioritised relations with other Western players, particularly France and the United States.
