Earthquake hits Dagestan at 4.3 magnitude, no damage reported

Russian seismologists registered a magnitude 4.3 earthquake in the Kizilyurtovsky District of the Republic of Dagestan on May 2, according to the press service of the regional office of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The tremor was recorded at 5:49 am Moscow time near the village of Inchkha at a depth of 10 kilometres. Authorities noted that the quake was not felt at the surface, Caliber.Az reports.

No casualties or damage have been reported, according to EMERCOM.
