“Biz Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı’ndayken, bu ürünlerin (savunma sanayii) %60-70’ini kullanmak durumunda kaldık.
İHA’ları, SİHA’ları, mühimmatları, elektronik harp cihazlarını, piyade tüfeklerini kullandık.

He emphasised that the organisation made operational use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), armed drones (UCAVs), ammunition, electronic warfare devices, and infantry rifles. He added that the Armed Forces deployed missiles during joint operations and that MİT itself conducted operations in multiple countries, including Syria and Iraq, relying on intelligence shared with Turkish engineers and companies.
Fidan also addressed international sanctions targeting Türkiye’s defence industry, announcing that a special diplomatic effort had successfully lifted restrictions imposed by Canada, the Netherlands, and Belgium, while Germany had largely eased its embargoes, and the United States had removed some measures.
He further condemned disinformation campaigns aimed at undermining the Turkish defence sector, underscoring the government’s commitment to safeguarding its technological and operational capabilities.
