Erdogan to arrive in Azerbaijan shortly for Turkic States summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will arrive in Azerbaijan on October 7 at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev to attend the 12th Summit of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS), to be held in the city of Gabala.

The summit, convened under the theme “Regional Peace and Security,” will focus on strengthening the organisation’s institutional framework and deepening cooperation among member states. Leaders are expected to adopt a number of key documents and decisions, including the Gabala Declaration, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.

President Erdogan will participate in the Council of Heads of State meeting on the sidelines of the summit and is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with several participating heads of state and government.
