Light aircraft crashes after hitting power line in Russia’s Saratov

A light aircraft crashed in Russia’s Saratov region after colliding with a power line.

The Russian Investigative Committee said a procedural inquiry had been launched into the crash, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“According to preliminary information, during the day on September 21, 2026, near the village of Kolki in the Petrovsky District of the Saratov Region, a light aircraft operated by a 64-year-old pilot crashed while landing after colliding with a power line,” the agency noted.
