FM: Armenia will not escalate trade tensions with Russia
Armenia will not escalate tensions with Russia and will instead seek to resolve emerging issues in a “calm and constructive atmosphere,” Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said, commenting on restrictions affecting exports to Russia, Sputnik Armenia reported.
“We will not increase the degree of tension, but will resolve all problems in a working and partnership format. Similar difficulties have arisen before — both before the war and before the revolution. The same Lars has been closed dozens of times,” the minister said in an interview with the Armenia TV channel.
According to Mirzoyan, the restrictions have also contributed to the diversification of supply routes. In particular, one shipment of Armenian flowers was exported to countries in Northern Europe.
