Azerbaijan’s First Vice-President, Mehriban Aliyeva, shared on official social media accounts footage from New York showing Donald Trump asking President Ilham Aliyev how long the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan had lasted. Aliyev replied that it spanned more than 30 years and expressed his gratitude to Trump for his role in facilitating its resolution.
