FSB detains Mariupol resident over alleged terror plot

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a 52-year-old resident of occupied Mariupol who was allegedly preparing to carry out a terrorist attack, according to Russian media reports cited by Caliber.Az.
The suspect was apprehended while attempting to plant an explosive device in a vehicle. Authorities said they discovered and seized a device containing 3,500 grams of hexogen, fitted with shrapnel elements, along with an electric detonator and a remote control.
According to the FSB, the man later admitted that he had planned to install the explosive device near the city administration building.
Investigators are currently conducting further checks and procedural actions in connection with the case.
