G20 leaders adopt declaration on global resilience, sustainable development
The official text of the G20 Summit declaration, adopted by the Group's leaders in South Africa, has been published in Russian on the Kremlin’s website. The document comprises 17 sections addressing a wide range of global issues.
Key areas include strengthening disaster resilience and response, ensuring manageable debt levels for low-income countries, mobilising financing for fair energy transitions, and leveraging critical minerals for inclusive growth and sustainable development, Caliber.Az reports.
The declaration also emphasises inclusive economic growth, industrialisation, employment, inequality reduction, food security, artificial intelligence, data governance, and innovation for sustainable development. Partnerships with Africa, financial sector reforms, and measures to enhance international financial architecture and debt sustainability are also highlighted.
Additionally, the document addresses sustainable finance, infrastructure and healthcare investments, financial stability, international tax system improvements, and the mobilisation of domestic resources. The declaration reflects the G20’s commitment to global development and equitable governance while providing a summary of the group’s activities over the past period.
