Gas pipeline fire erupts in Russia's Omsk region Video
A gas fire broke out near the village of Rostovka in Russia’s Omsk region on the morning of November 18 during repair work on an above-ground section of the pipeline.
According to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), the fire was quickly contained, and there were no casualties, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
The incident occurred along an underground branch of the main gas pipeline, as confirmed by Vitaly Khotsenko, the governor of Omsk region.
Emergency response teams, including 18 personnel and four pieces of equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, were promptly dispatched to the site.
The FSB has stated that the circumstances surrounding the fire are still under investigation, though no further details about the cause of the blaze have been provided.
