Georgia exported more than 90% of its blueberry crop to Russia

Georgia has exported 9,900 tons of blueberries between May 1 and August 10, 2026, with more than 9,000 tons shipped to Russia, according to the country’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
The ministry said the European Union was the second-largest buyer, importing 498 tons, Caliber.Az reports.
Armenia purchased 192 tons, Türkiye 102 tons and the United Arab Emirates 70 tons.
Exports during the period increased by 55% compared with the same period last year.
Their total value reached $63.3 million, up 47% year-on-year.
The average export price of Georgian blueberries was $6.4 per kilogram.
