Georgia praises cooperation mechanisms with Azerbaijan, Türkiye
The trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye once again underscores the importance of regional cooperation, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili has stated.
Papuashvili made the remarks during a briefing, emphasizing the value of cooperation formats among the three countries at both the executive and legislative levels, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
“These cooperation formats contribute to the alignment of political positions among the countries and to reaching a common understanding on the challenges facing the region. This also applies to economic cooperation between our states in order to advance the interests of our countries,” Papuashvili said.
He underlined that such mechanisms help strengthen mutual understanding and coordination on regional issues, while also supporting economic engagement among the participating states.
The tenth trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia is scheduled to take place in Istanbul on June 8.
