Georgian bank attacker reportedly installs bomb in building

The hostage-taker in Kutaisi's Bank of Georgia has claimed that he planted explosives inside the building.
The alleged robber stated this in a video broadcast by local media, Caliber.Az reports citing the Georgian media.
"I have placed bombs here, they will explode as soon as the door opens," he says.
And one of the hostages says: "He has a stopwatch, he's not joking."
There are 30 minutes left before the expiration of the time set by the robber to fulfil the requirements.

A bank branch in the Georgian city of Kutaisi's Imereti region has been attacked.
According to a written statement issued by the Georgian Interior Ministry, a gunman entered a branch of the Bank of Georgia on Shota Rustaveli Street in the city of Kutaisi, TRT Haber reports.
Members of the press and the public were urged to follow the rules in the statement, which noted that security forces took the necessary precautions on the scene.
The robber was seen holding some people hostage in the bank.
The alleged assailant opened fire.
According to reports, the attacker demanded $2 million.
