Georgian government to send additional aid to Ukraine in form of generators
31 October 2025 20:15
The Georgian government has decided to provide further assistance to Ukraine, sending generators valued at 1.5 million lari ($550,000).
This decision, which was made during a recent meeting of the Georgian Cabinet of Ministers, will see various types of generators purchased by the Georgian Energy Development Fund for delivery to Ukraine, Caliber.Az reports per Georgian media.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is expected to officially sign the order on October 31. The move follows Georgia's earlier support to Ukraine in 2023, when it sent 25 high-power generators, also worth 1.5 million lari, to assist with Ukraine's energy needs during the ongoing conflict.
