Georgian mineral water exports to Russia hit record high

Georgia’s mineral water exports to Russia have reached record levels, with shipments valued at $46.4 million, according to Sputnik Georgia.

The figure is 11% higher than during the same period last year, highlighting continued strong demand for Georgian bottled water on the Russian market, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

Borjomi and Nabeglavi remain the leading Georgian brands in Russia, where they are widely sold in shops and through online retailers.

Georgia has also recorded a sharp increase in fruit juice exports to Russia. However, exports of Georgian carbonated soft drinks moved in the opposite direction, falling 22% to $5.4 million.
