Germany hands over six tank bridge-laying machines to Ukraine

Berlin has provided Kyiv with a new batch of equipment, which included six Bieber tank bridge-laying trucks and eight large-capacity Zetros trucks.

The German government published the updated list of weapons, which will be transferred to Kyiv, TASS reports.

In July last year, the then-German Defence Minister Christian Lambrecht announced that Germany would send 16 Biber tank bridge-laying trucks to Ukraine.

The document notes that from January 1, 2022, to February 20, 2023, the German government issued separate permits to export military products worth more than 2.5 billion euros.
