Germany unveils number of illegal Azerbaijani immigrants
Appropriate measures will be taken against 13 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who illegally entered Germany over the past six months.
The remarks came from the German Federal Interior Ministry, Report informs.
The report notes that over the past six months of this year, most of the 13 citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan illegally entered the territory of Germany from neighbouring countries, hiding in heavy vehicles. Those detained during the police raid were handed over to the relevant migration authorities.
The federal ministry said that action would be taken against these persons for illegal border crossings.
According to the German newspaper Bild, about 1,500 migrants enter the country illegally every day. These are mainly citizens of Syria, Afghanistan and the North African republics.
The newspaper claims that neighbouring Switzerland is sending migrants to Germany.
