Harris ahead of Trump in three swing states - poll

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running for the highest office from the Democratic Party, is ahead of her Republican opponent Donald Trump in terms of voter support in three swing states, accordaing to the results of a Bullfinch Group poll. 

Harris has the largest lead in the state of Michigan, where 53% of respondents support her, while 45% of respondents expressed support for Trump, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

In two other states - Wisconsin and Pennsylvania - the gap between the two candidates is within the margin of error. In Wisconsin, Harris is ahead of Trump by three percentage points, and in Pennsylvania by one point.

The poll was conducted among residents of the three states between October 11 and October 17, with 1,800 participants. The survey has a margin of error of 4 points.

This year, Trump had been leading in all three states against Biden. But his lead was overtaken by Harris when she became the Democratic presidential nominee.

While FiveThirtyEight's poll tracker still shows that Harris is leading by very slim margins in the three states, her vote share there has declined in the last three weeks.
