Heydar Aliyev Foundation, ICESCO ink memorandum of cooperation

A memorandum of cooperation between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and ICESCO was signed in Shusha on May 11.

Caliber.Az reports that the memorandum envisages the exchange of experience in the field of culture, science and education, the development of new technologies, as well as the realization of joint projects.

During the meeting between Anar Alakbarov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and ICESCO Director General Salim bin Muhammad Al-Malik, discussions centred on bilateral cooperation and the evolving relationship between ICESCO and the Foundation.

Activity and merits of the Foundation's President Mehriban Aliyeva as ICESCO Goodwill Ambassador in bringing civilizations closer and intercultural dialogue were emphasized.

The activity of the Foundation aimed at the development of education and culture, particularly humanitarian projects implemented both in Azerbaijan and other countries, as well as inter-religious rapprochement was noted at the meeting. It was emphasized that the signed memorandum would create a basis for the future success of cooperation.
